SYLVAN LEARNING SYLVAN LEARNING WEEKLY CAMPAIGNS

Sylvan Learning came to Teradata Marketing Applications to help fill a need for a campaign specialist to help assist in running their weekly campaigns while they searched for a new EMP. From November 2015 - March 2016, I ran weekly and monthly campaigns for Sylvan Learning through Aprimo. There were four different types of campaigns, but all of them consisted of different criteria and segmentation.

On top of running the segmentation, we were also requested to update the assets for the campaigns. The updates included copy changes, header changes, and footer changes. On occasion, I did manage to update their HTML so that it would render better and be much more manageable on future campaigns. This included optimizing their code to fewer lines and less unused CSS. However, due to a client request, we did not update their creatives to be mobile responsive.

In March 2016, Sylvan Learning began the move to Salesforce Marketing Cloud. However, for the next month, they still needed to use Aprimo. I was given the opportunity to teach a Sylvan Learning marketer the tools she needed to learn how to use their instance of Aprimo to send out different campaigns. Over the course of a month, I completed five training sessions, one Q&A session, and live send out monitoring with her.
